What is the TEXAS ACP?

The State Board for Educator Certification approved, TEXAS Alternative Certification Program, is an intensive one year educator preparation program designed to identify, select, train and certify top quality teacher-candidates through a series of workshops, seminars, field activities, and an internship.   We have a 98% success rate for individuals that complete the program! 

 

We are proud to announce that on June 29, 2009, Dr. Janice Lopez, Director of Educator Standards of the Texas Education Agency, notified us that the TEXAS ACP has received the rating of “ACCREDITED” under the accountability System for Educator Preparation!
